Chapter 3 - Spreading out

Walking through the desert of Dorne, I try to organize my memories. It turns out that my connection to the Great Wyvern, "Falkor the Last" is still intact and I can still feel that he's alive somewhere in this world. I still remember the battle and the pact that we made. We fought for days and nights non-end till he acknowledged my determination and offered the pact. After that day we became connected and with his help, I defeated the tyrant Dhespar and stopped his vile dark magic.

Getting woken up from my thoughts the system appeared

-"Due to user existence, the system will send people from Heathmoor to Planetos. The user is encouraged to find the subjects that swore fealty to him from the four factions. Warning, a great evil has emerged and the system wishes the user luck in his future endeavors".

-"A great Evil? That doesn't sound good."

However, that also means some of my people have appeared in this world and I can't wait to see them. I hope they don't blame me for what happened before I died.

Shaking these thoughts out of my head I continue on my route to Sunspear when I suddenly hear the sound of swords clashing and men screaming. Running towards the commotion I see men protecting a fancy-looking carriage from bandits, they were obviously losing, with the exception of one man quite skilled with a spear. It was only a matter of time before they get overwhelmed and for the bandits to enter the carriage.

Deciding it was time to intervene, I start by taking out a woman who was taking out the guards with her bow. She was quite skilled though I cleaved right through her without any problem because she didn't see me. Turning around I see a large man enter the carriage so I ran quickly and managed to pierce his heart from the back with my sword. After he fell, I looked inside the carriage and found two women, both beautiful however one's beauty was welcoming and motherly with her black hair and brown eyes and the other was devilish and enticing with her purple eyes and attractive figure. The first woman held a child to her chest and a terrified little girl behind her.

Figuring out that these must be princess Elia and Ashara Dayne I quickly ask if they're hurt and seeing the bruise on Ashara's face, I felt enraged as my values as a Warden came to light. I leave the carriage and start going on a rampage felling enemies with each swing of my sword, granted they were tired and badly equipped compared to me, however, the difference in ability was painfully obvious. I wasn't called Swordmaster Ramiel for no reason.

After killing a fat man with a hammer and a couple more of them I realize that they must be the Kingswood Brotherhood and that girl with the bow that I killed must be Wenda the white fawn.

Not that it mattered, bandits need to be exterminated root and stem. Finishing the last of them I start walking back towards the carriage when the spear wielder that I saw earlier approached me, he was an olive-skinned man and he had a mischievous smile on his face.

-"What a display with the sword" he chuckles

"I am Oberyn of House Martell and I thank you for helping us today good ser. "

-"Think nothing of it, It is my duty as a knight to protect the innocent"

-"Not many knights would dare fight against the Kingswood Brotherhood, however."

-"My brother is right Ser, thank you for not leaving us to our deaths"

I turn to the side and I see the princess with her handmaiden approaching us

-"If a knight hides then who is left to fight my lady? A knight must be a symbol of hope for his allies and a symbol of fear for his enemies."

-"Indeed, and I thank you all the same. I am princess Elia of houses Targaryen and Martell and this is my handmaiden Ashara Dayne, what is your name good Ser?" while pointing to herself than to her friend.

I bow my head slightly at her declaration and answer all the same.

-"A pleasure to meet you, your grace. I am Lord Warden Ramiel of House Samion, ruler of Wyverndale, I seem to have washed up at the shore near here and have been separated from my people."

-"The pleasure is mine Lord Ramiel and I must insist that you come with us to Sunspear so I can properly thank you for saving us."

I smile and accept her offer then we start heading to Sunspear immediately. However because we only had two horses, Ashara and Rhaenys rode with me while Elia and Aegon rode with Oberyn. And I might be overthinking it but I swear I felt hands moving across my chest and abdomen under my armor. It must be my imagination but I swear I felt something!!!

My lord has disappeared and we have appeared in a territory filled with snow and forests, reminds me of Viking territory. After thinking we were killed in the attack by the evil forces, we woke up in unfamiliar territory. As the highest ranking knight chosen by his excellency himself I must lead the remaining members of the knights faction and ensure their safety, however, our supplies are running low and if we don't find a village or city soon we will start getting desperate. Our Lord should be alive, no he must be alive, he overcame a bloody Wyvern I'm sure he can overcome whatever that was that killed us.

I suddenly get shaken out of my thoughts by a scout that I sent

-"My Lord, There's a town half a days march from here."

I smile and nod at the scout 'It seems the gods haven't forsaken us yet'

Pov: Jarl Torsten

I am a Warlord, I like fighting and bloodshed just like any true Viking, however these "Ironborn" disgust me. My men and I woke up on one of the islands in the Iron islands after fighting with Lord Ramiel, a man deserving of respect and the only man I would ever bow down to.

First I thought that we have a lot in common with these "Ironborn", however I was disgusted when I discovered the truth of their so called "raids". When a Viking raids, he raids and fights for glory, FOR HONOR. But these disgusting vermin only take on powerless foes and peasants. Sure they believe in a water deity and say things like "What is dead may never die" but they don't welcome death like we do. All Vikings fight for the Glory and Honor of one day reaching Valhalla and dining with the greatest warriors to have ever lived. These Ironborn need to be taught the truth.

I see potential in them so all hope is not lost. Their ships aren't terrible, however nothing compared to real Viking ships.

It seems the gods haven't forsaken us yet, I will build my ships and ready my men. It seems that I Jarl Torsten, scourge of the seas must show these men the real price of their Ironprice
