In the original plot, Deadpool with his multiple abilities was ultimately killed by Wolverine and Sabretooth working together.
Lucas found this outcome perplexing. How could Deadpool, possessing teleportation abilities, be dispatched so easily? Moreover, with Wolverine's self-healing factor incorporated into his being, Wolverine's adamantium claws shouldn't have been capable of delivering a fatal blow.
After careful deliberation, Lucas concluded that Deadpool's death at Wolverine's hands was simply a narrative necessity. If Gengetsu Hōzuki attempted to replicate this plot-mandated kill, success would be virtually impossible.
Since Gengetsu's mission specifically required him to eliminate Deadpool, while the original storyline demanded this be accomplished by Wolverine as the protagonist, using Wolverine as a proxy might not satisfy the Traverser Space's requirements.
Gengetsu Hōzuki battled fiercely against Deadpool, quickly finding himself at a disadvantage. His renowned Water Style ninjutsu failed to produce its typical effectiveness against this opponent.
"Water Cannon Technique!"
Gengetsu formed a seal with his right hand and launched his attack—a liquid bullet penetrated Deadpool's body.
Puff!
Though easily pierced by the water bullet, Deadpool remained unaffected. His body contorted slightly as the wound Gengetsu had just inflicted healed with remarkable speed.

Senju Tobirama: "Is this guy's self-healing capability truly so formidable? It seems even more potent than my elder brother's Sage Body."
Lucas: "Deadpool's self-healing factor originates from Wolverine, surpassing your elder brother's abilities in terms of preservation and recovery."
Senju Hashirama: "Impossible!"
Lucas: "Very possible! Beheading would prove fatal to you, but not to Wolverine. His self-healing factor exceeds anything you might imagine—even a single remaining cell could facilitate complete recovery."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Am I doomed then? I lack the means to destroy every cell in his body. How can I possibly defeat such an opponent?"
Uchiha Shisui: "Your current approach is definitely futile. Burns will undoubtedly be neutralized by his regenerative capabilities."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "If only I possessed the Second Tsuchikage's—no, that bastard's Dust Release. I could certainly eliminate this super-regenerating menace. Group Leader, what strategy would you recommend?"
Howard Stark: "I have a suggestion! Can you control him? If so, consider chemical destruction."
Sebastian Shaw: "A solution of potent acid and alkali? That's indeed an effective approach against regenerating bodies. Submerge him completely—his cells will eventually disintegrate."
Tokiomi Tohsaka: "What about a nuclear bomb?"
Lucas: "Placing him at the explosion's epicenter should prove effective."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "These methods lie beyond my capabilities. Is there a simpler alternative?"
Lucas: "Yes! One moment—I'll provide you with equipment."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "What equipment?"
Lucas: "A scroll containing sealed Dust Release ninjutsu. Would that interest you?"
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "That's precisely what I need!"
Neither chemicals nor nuclear weapons appealed to Gengetsu. As a native of the ninja world, such concepts remained entirely foreign to him.
Dust Release, however, was different. Though it belonged to his mortal enemy, it remained a mystical technique from his homeland! Furthermore, Gengetsu's understanding of Dust Release was surpassed only by the Second Tsuchikage Mū and Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki, the technique's actual practitioners.
There's wisdom in the saying: your greatest enemy may understand you better than you understand yourself!
As the sworn adversary of Dust Release users, Gengetsu Hōzuki had dedicated considerable effort to studying this technique.
Lucas created a Dust Release scroll and entrusted it to one of his clones, instructing him to deliver it to Gengetsu.
"Water Style: Hidden Mist Technique!"
"Water Style: Sticky Water Technique!"
Upon receiving the scroll, Gengetsu Hōzuki immediately deployed two Water Style ninjutsu.
The Hidden Mist Technique generated thick fog, obscuring Deadpool's vision. Meanwhile, sticky water flowed beneath his feet, preventing teleportation escape. Though the sticky water couldn't restrain Deadpool indefinitely, a brief moment would suffice.
Gengetsu Hōzuki unfurled the scroll—brilliant dust and white light erupted. The surrounding mist, along with Deadpool within it, disintegrated at the molecular level, completely vanishing into nothingness.

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Mission accomplished! Group Leader, why was I assigned such a challenging task? If Senju Hashirama's mission leveraged indigenous powers, mine was utterly unreasonable!"
Senju Hashirama: "Indeed! Without specialized techniques, destroying this self-healing monster would be impossible."
Howard Stark: "Not necessarily! Our suggestions—chemicals and nuclear weapons—represent perfectly viable methods for eliminating Deadpool."
Senju Tobirama: "Consider a newcomer to the Traverser Space. Even knowing such methods, how could they implement them? Deadpool wouldn't obligingly position himself at a nuclear explosion's center or in a chemical vat."
Lucas: "There is a solution! The Deadpool Gengetsu encountered was under external control. Locate the controlling computer, and you could manipulate his behavior."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "I see—that's how ordinary Traversers resolve the Deadpool problem. But this facility is enormous. Regular Traversers must possess considerable capabilities to accomplish this, correct?"
Lucas: "Exactly! The Traverser Space evidently considered your abilities when assigning tasks. @Uchiha Madara, how is your situation progressing?"
Uchiha Madara: "I've located Deadpool, though the version in my world differs significantly from Gengetsu's. Fortunately, the Traverser Space provided identification guidance, otherwise recognition would have been challenging."
Lucas: "Variations between identical individuals across different worlds are normal. Activate your broadcast so we can observe your interaction. Deadpool possesses a unique character—I'm curious about his reaction to you."
Uchiha Madara: "Very well!"
After initiating the broadcast, Uchiha Madara approached Deadpool. Upon seeing Uchiha Madara, Deadpool registered surprise and couldn't help asking: "Uchiha Madara? Are you cosplaying, or is the authentic Uchiha Madara from the Ninja World crossing into my universe?"
In the chat group, Uchiha Madara responded with astonishment: "What's happening with this Deadpool?"
Lucas: "Have I mentioned this before? Events in your world appear as comic narratives in certain realms. Deadpool recognizes your world's existence, but views both his world and yours as fictional constructs. He believes comic writers created both worlds."
Uchiha Madara: "Is there anything problematic with that perspective? Identical manga created by different authors across different worlds, yet containing exactly the same content—this raises a fundamental question: who truly created these worlds?"
Lucas: "You could employ this theory to convince him his world isn't virtual. Ironically, the world he inhabits is indeed virtual. There's no escaping it—the Traverser Space created him based on an actual reality."
Uchiha Madara: "I lack both interest and aptitude for enlightening others."
Senju Tobirama: "Indeed! Madara excels as a behind-the-scenes manipulator, but expecting him to open people's hearts is unrealistic."
Senju Hashirama: "Enough! Since Madara has no desire to address Deadpool's existential crisis, Group Leader should advise him on mission completion! As Traversers unfamiliar with these storylines, such missions prove extremely challenging."
Lucas: "Madara's world contains mutants who face discrimination and oppression. A young boy named Russell possesses extreme heat generation abilities. He's endured abuse from ordinary humans since childhood."
Lucas: "Following certain events, he decides to transform himself—first killing the orphanage director who abused him, then becoming a killer who eliminates anyone he dislikes. Madara's assignment is to prevent this transformation."
Meanwhile, Deadpool continued chattering in the virtual world: "Why enter my world uninvited? Don't you understand that's incredibly impolite? Crossing into others' universes requires proper copyright clearance. Did you secure the necessary permissions beforehand?"
Uchiha Madara: "Must I really collaborate with this individual to fulfill my mission? I'm tempted to eliminate him immediately. Now I comprehend why Deadpool's mouth was sewn shut in Gengetsu's world."
Lucas: "His legendary verbosity overwhelmed his transformer. You could control him with genjutsu. This Deadpool is substantially weaker than Gengetsu's opponent."
Uchiha Madara: "Excellent suggestion! Where is this Russell? I'll attend to his education."
Senju Hashirama: "What are you planning?"
Uchiha Madara: "Persuasion isn't my strength, so I'll attempt genjutsu. Should that fail, I'll resort to physical persuasion!"
Uchiha Madara's definition of "physical persuasion" was abundantly clear.
Irisviel: "Isn't that excessively harsh? According to the Group Leader, the child's transformation stemmed from unbearable abuse."
Uchiha Madara: "Very well! To reinforce my persuasion, I can assist with his vengeance. But that's my limit. I believe a sound thrashing can transform a person. He wishes to act on impulse, killing indiscriminately? I'll simply provide him an advance taste of such reckless behavior's consequences."
Uchiha Madara: "Besides, this is merely a virtual world. Once you complete the assigned task, you needn't concern yourself with subsequent repercussions."
