When Rui was done, he heaved a deep breath, letting his grip on Divine Mother o-o-o-o go, who opened her eyes for what she remembered to be the first time since his battle with her.
"You!" Her pincers clashed against each other. "You. Dare. Imprison. My. Body?!"
She began with the same words, not recollecting that she had uttered those very words just a few minutes prior. Rui nodded with satisfaction, realizing that it had worked. Even as the Divine Mother lashed out at him, not realizing her situation, he observed his handiwork.
'It's perfect,' he mused. 'No traces of mind manipulation at all. And she doesn't suspect a single thing. Even if she opens up her mind to the mental experts of her civilization, they won't find a thing and will only conclude that I didn't have the opportunity to manipulate her mind when she was frozen in time.'
