Justin Battleson's every step on the ground sounded like a heavy hammer, pounding in Leon Battleson's mind.
"This is where you and your mother used to live, isn't it?"
When he said this, Justin deliberately emphasized the word "live," causing Leon to involuntarily shiver.
"How did you know about this place? There's no way you could have found it..."
Leon took a deep breath, murmuring under his breath, and then suddenly turned his head sharply towards Oliver Battleson behind him.
"It was you!" Leon's pupils contracted, and he reached out to choke Oliver's neck.
"You told him about this place!"
Leon was extremely agitated, almost to the point of hysteria.
He no longer cared about his actions, only demanding the answer he wanted to know.
Oliver's face finally showed a smug smile; his lips quivered as he struggled to speak.
"Yes, I met with Justin long before you did... I told him everything before you even knew."
For all these years, Oliver lived in constant guilt.
