Chad looked at Hank in surprise.
"Because I smelled hospital disinfectant on Mom."
Hank said seriously.
When Charlotte returned, he was the first to hug her. Because he smelled disinfectant on Charlotte, he asked about her health.
"I thought Mom's smell was strange earlier; turns out it's the hospital disinfectant." Jack tapped his palm, his face solemn.
"Could Mom really be sick?"
"No, I have to go see Mom." Olivia stood up from her chair, looking anxious and wanting to leave the room.
However, Hank stopped her.
This left Olivia puzzled, looking at him.
"Why are you stopping me, second brother? Shouldn't we go check on Mom?"
Hank placed a hand on Olivia's shoulder, sighed, and for once, his usually cheerful demeanor showed a serious expression.
"I know you're worried about Mom, and so are we. But do you think Mom will tell us if we ask her? She'll just say we're overthinking and there's nothing to worry about."
Sure enough, Hank's words silenced Olivia.
