"Can't you hear what I'm saying?"
Charlie Hudson let out a cold laugh and pressed the gun barrel harder against Annie Anne's temple.
Annie Anne's gaze was fixed directly on Oliver Hudson's face.
Then she watched as the man, who had always been proud and regal in her memory, slowly bent his knees and knelt before Charlie Hudson.
Annie Anne's pupils shrank.
This wasn't Oliver Hudson.
How could he do such a thing?
Especially for her.
"I'm begging you, let her go."
Oliver Hudson's voice revealed no joy or anger, and his gaze remained fixed on Annie Anne's face, concerned over her every detail.
Seeing Oliver Hudson's actions, Charlie Hudson couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Oliver Hudson, Oliver Hudson, who would have thought you'd see this day, huh? Throw the files over here."
Oliver Hudson followed Charlie Hudson's orders and tossed the files in his hand.
