Third person POV
"My name is Osamu Dazai," Dazai said to Arturo back positively and directly. "And you might be?"
"M-My name is Byeon Arturo," replied Arturo while stammering a bit and in an East Asian format of his introduction to him, "or, Arturo Taraki Baguinda-Byeon of the Philippines and South Korea."
Both Dazai and Atsushi were stunned at his full name.
"Oh…?"
"You're a foreigner actually?"
Arturo then nodded. "Yes, and I am from the Philippines as of now."
"Oh…"
"Right," Dazai responded back while analyzing his statements.
And then, Atsushi revealed to him Arturo's claim of being his distant relative, much to Dazai's surprise. "Oh, so Arturo is?" Dazai asked back. Atsushi then shrugged. "Don't know if that one is true or not…" Being a bit suspicious about that claim from Arturo, Dazai suggested taking that to their Armed Detective Agency for confirmation and even investigation behind it. Atsushi and Arturo agreed with him, but Arturo didn't know that agency yet. And so, the three of them went to that agency under the direction of Atsushi and Dazai.
There Atsushi and Dazai introduced Arturo to their friends and coworkers, much to their surprise. Arturo was a bit nervous but did his introduction in decent Japanese anyway and with a deep bow. Tanizaki was surprised to see that a foreigner like him could speak decent Japanese, and Atsushi explained that Arturo had claimed to be his distant relative, sending mild shocks across the small agency. Kunikida was a bit suspicious about Arturo's claim, thinking that Arturo was a con artist. But Arturo showed the family tree paper to him and others saying, "Do you think this is a forgery?"
When the other Detectives looked at that, Kunikida and Dazai thought that it was probably genuine due to its slightly used and beat-up state. Arturo then nodded and said, "My mum was the one who possessed it and gave it to me."
"Oh, so your mum is a Japanese, am I correct?" Kunikida asked back.
"Yes, but of Japanese descent to be exact."
"Hmm…it must have to happen that she either knew it from someone else who was close to her, or she knew it herself."
"She said that someone filled Atsushi-kun's name into the family tree and gave it back to her."
"Who did that?" Atsushi asked back.
Arturo then shrugged. "I don't know. She didn't mention the name either…"
"That's strange…" Dazai responded back while thinking of any possible names.
The other detectives then thought about it as well as Arturo was waiting for an answer while scrolling in his phone and listening to music on it to pass the time. But someone will abduct him later that afternoon.
