The next morning, Betty was in her small apartment preparing to visit Henry when she had a call from Grandpa Billy. At first she didn't want to pick up but she knew that Grandpa Billy wouldn't stop calling her until she talks to him so she answered the call. Before she could even greet she heard Grandpa Billy's worried voice. "My child, how are doing"
"Good morning grandpa, I'm fine thanks what about you"
"My grandchild, how can I be fine when you've left the house with my grandson. Why did you leave, don't you like the place anymore" grandpa Billy was asking a lot. Betty knew this question was going to pup up so she was already prepared about the answer. "I'm sorry grandpa but I really needed to leave and learn how to live on my own. Also it's mainly because of work that's why I left. Henry didn't want to separate from me so he came along with me."
"My dear grandchild.." grandpa Billy was aware of how Betty always wanted to live alone so he didn't want to force her to come back to the Rockson's house. Betty knew that Grandpa Billy would ask her if she has really found a job. Because she didn't want to lie anymore, she decided to change the topic. "Grandpa how was your vacation, I hope you had enough fun. Welcome grandpa"
"Thanks my dear grandchild, my trip was good but please don't forget to visit me frequently and please take good care of my dear grandson"
"You don't need to worry grandpa. " They spoke for a long time. Betty had to lie to grandpa Billy that Henry was asleep when he asked to talk to him. At the end of the conversation. Betty was forced to visit the next two days which was a weekend.
Just after the call ended, she got a call from Jack Smith "Good Morning Betty. How are you doing" Jack asked in his deep voice. Betty responded and to her surprise, Jack Smith asked her for dinner and hunged up. Saying asked is an understatement, he told her they were going to have dinner and gave her a good luck for the day. Betty wasn't even allowed to give an answer. She chuckled at Jack's commanding attitude and left for the hospital.
Daniel Pyne's House.
Daniel wasn't able to have a good night rest. After Jack said Ellen could sleep there, she has worried him a lot. After he was able to break free from Ellen's tight hug, he led Ellen into one of the rooms in the house but to his surprise, Ellen came back to his room with a revealing night wear just after he finished bathing. He tried sending her back into her room but she begged to sleep in the room since the weather had turned cloudy that evening. Daniel knew how Ellen was scared when it rains so he allowed her into the room. Being a gentleman, he gave the bed to Ellen but she worried him till he also decided to sleep on the bed . Later , Ellen ended up in his embrace but Daniel pretended to be asleep and suffered silently. Even though he didn't have any busy schedule the next morning, because he wanted to get rid of her that early. He pretended to have a busy schedule at work and dropped her in her brother's house .
He begun making plans on how to distance himself from Ellen. His feelings that he thought he had lost for her was beginning to revive.
