The mild disbelief in her tone made me chuckle and shrug my shoulders as I replied "Why wouldn't I be, my love~? I think I've made it abundantly clear what my desires are.", earning another few blinks as she tried to wrap her pretty head around what I was saying.
"I... Yes, you have, but I was thinking-"
"And sometimes you think too much, Kat~! Especially when it comes to us; thinking is good but sometimes you need to realize that - Anput and I in particular - literally never have ulterior motives because... well, that would require all sorts of mind games and thinking that we don't care for."
I cut her off only because it was simpler to nip this at the bud then let her mull it over and slowly fabricate some reason that didn't exist, which while interesting would just end up creating small bits of trouble later down the line.
