"Jingjing, are you tired?"
Liang Jingjing was petting the rabbit, and when she turned her head, she was met with Ye Wan's smiling face.
Even though they had only been together for a week, Liang Jingjing knew that when Sister Wan smiled like that, she definitely had something in mind.
"I'm not tired, Sister Wan, just tell me what you need!"
Liang Jingjing proudly held her head high.
"Come on, let's get to work..."
Ye Wan picked up the toolbox and led Liang Jingjing back into the dense forest.
Within a kilometer around them, all the dead trees had already been carried back, either used to build a cabin, or chopped into firewood.
The two walked for a long time without finding usable dead trees and had to cut down a dozen bamboo stalks.
However, there was an unexpected gain as they dug up a few bamboo shoots.
"We'll have fried bamboo shoots with meat tonight!"
Ye Wan had Liang Jingjing carry the shoots while she dragged the dozen bamboo stalks.
