Ye Wan returned to the cabin at dusk.
Although there wasn't the anticipated braised pork, with a rabbit in her left hand and vegetables in her right, dinner was predictably abundant.
With a smile, Liang Jingjing took what Ye Wan was holding and put it away, then happily dragged her to check out the pits.
"Not bad, not bad..."
Ye Wan pinched Liang Jingjing's cheek, "Jingjing is the most capable! These pits you've dug are really big and nicely done."
She chopped the rabbit into pieces and put it into the pot to stew, leaving Liang Jingjing to watch the fire.
Ye Wan grabbed the toolbox and darted into the forest.
She returned just before the fragrant aroma filled the air.
Holding two large bundles in her arms.
"Is this... grass?"
"It's obvious you haven't farmed before. Anyway, I can recognize several kinds of vegetables: sprouts, curly vegetable, shepherd's purse, and wild onions."
