Streetlights one after another flickered to life.
A relatively secluded side gate on the west side of the Imperial Palace.

Even with the streetlights illuminating, the dense shadows of the trees kept the surroundings rather dim.
The woman who came out of the Imperial Palace walked alone along the cobblestone path, her supple waist and full hips naturally swaying with each step.
"Snap."
Suddenly.
A hand appeared out of nowhere, silently pressing down on her shoulder.
The woman's delicate frame shivered, then her arm bent, instinctively forming an elbow strike stance.
She seemed fragile, but in reality, she knew a bit of self-defense.
Unfortunately, that sinister hand was clearly well-prepared, quickly sliding down from her shoulder and gripping her arm, rendering her immobile in an instant.
"Why didn't you let me know you were returning to Tokyo?"
The voice by her ear caused the woman to abruptly cease her struggle.
