The Hundred Peaks Sect is now large enough, but in the void, thunder fell one after another, forming a continuous sheet that enveloped the entire sect.
The thunder streaked across the void, instantly illuminating the originally dark sky with a bright blue. Before the thunder fell, its terrifying power had already arrived, making each bolt of lightning feel as though it could easily destroy mountains and evaporate great rivers.
The next moment, just as these bolts were about to crash down on the Hundred Peaks Sect, protective barriers rose all around.
These barriers sometimes took the form of the Four Holy Beasts—the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise—guarding a space.
On some of the barriers, golden dragon-tiger imagery appeared.
