Gardenia gathered the necessary Spirit Energy Reserves and loaded both of the Spirit Arts Elayne wanted to unlock from their dormant states. They were more important than anything else right now.
The reason was simple: with her Spirit Soul Weapon, Elayne would be able to better infuse her farm with Spirit Energy and lifeforce and embody her Spirit Power more effectively.

Elayne felt as if two chained powers deep within her soul suddenly broke free, unsealing themselves and manifesting through her hands.
They struggled to take form, however—partly because her Spirit Power wasn't the highest, but also due to the atmosphere. The overwhelming presence of Nether and Ghostly Energy made it difficult for purely Spiritual powers to manifest.
