Li Daoyi believed that Xu Mo did not obtain the Ancient Book, because he too, like Xu Mo, had gained some enlightenment from the Book of Enlightenment. Therefore, he and a few people from the Lin were actually the least suspicious of Xu Mo.
What Xu Mo achieved while meditating on the Ancient Book through the Energy Stone Pillar should be similar to what they accomplished. However, this was not enough to obtain that volume of the Book of Enlightenment.
The Book of Enlightenment encompasses everything in the Universe. Those with remarkable perception should all have the opportunity to gain some ability from it.
But Li Daoyi and the others could not figure out what exactly must be done to take the Book of Enlightenment?
