Grace was startled by his sudden closeness and took a small step back, her lips drawn into a straight line, "I'm not a little kid anymore, and you're only two years older than me anyway."
Seeing that she seemed a bit angry, Hayes didn't bother teasing her anymore, "Alright, so the not-a-kid Grace can obediently stand aside now?"
"Stand aside for what?" Grace asked him.
He chuckled, confidence and swagger lighting up his brows and eyes, "To watch me play basketball, of course."

After speaking, she picked up her backpack that was placed to the side and dashed away.
Hayes stood in the sunlight, looking at her departing figure, amused, "Just like when she was a kid."
