The two of them took the elevator downstairs together.
Grace Winter kept looking up at Hayes Edwards next to her, her eyes sparkling, as if they were saying, aren't you going to encourage me?
Hayes: "..." After a moment of silence, just before the elevator door opened, he said, "Good luck."
Grace immediately beamed with a smile, "Thank you, Hayes Edwards, I'll do well on the exam."
Hayes always thought Grace Winter's "little fool" brain had a unique structure, her temperament as soft as cotton candy, sometimes she wouldn't even realize when she was bullied, just foolishly happy, yet her academic performance was exceptionally good.
Starting from Grade Three at Dawn Light Middle School, there were mid-term and final exams, and Grace Winter was almost always the first place.
The most exaggerated was that one time when Grace helped him with his summer homework, and the accuracy was even higher than when he did it himself.
