Grace Winter stared at him, her round eyes blank, "But... but I haven't finished eating yet."
Hayes Edwards scolded her, "What are you eating, you're not allowed to eat!"
She looked a bit deflated and glanced at the lunchbox in Hayes' hand, "Alright then."
On the way back, Hayes tried one of the chicken wings he roasted, but after just one bite, he found a trash can to spit it out.
He then remembered the way Grace praised him earlier.
"Liar, what's so tasty about it."
Chubby said, "Grace probably didn't want to hurt your feelings, that's why she said it was good."
After saying that, Chubby nodded to himself, feeling his guess was spot on.
