Mother Edwards said, "Can't you set a good example for Grace?"
"Playing basketball is great, and it's good exercise," Hayes Edwards remarked, "I'm just worried she will focus only on studying without exercising and... well, you get what I mean."
Mother Edwards shook her head, "Exercise is good, but make sure to come home on time and don't make us worry."
Hayes Edwards nodded, "Got it."
As New Year approached, the end-of-term results were released.
Grace Winter surprised everyone by ranking first, not just in the class but in the entire grade. Even the teachers praised her talent in learning, saying she can grasp concepts quickly and apply them effectively.
Father Winter and Mother Winter were overjoyed upon hearing the news. Father Winter lifted Grace up, saying, "Grace is the best."
Grace giggled happily, her eyes curved like crescent moons.
Hayes Edwards also received his scores.
He didn't get first place, but he showed significant improvement compared to last time.
