Once we finally reached the final floor of the divine realm, we faced no single giant boss waiting for us. Instead we confronted a relentless swarm of super powerful monsters that filled the vast chamber. We broke through their ranks only barely, while constantly bearing the crushing pressure of the entire divine realm. Or rather, the oppressive "stomach" that existed inside Lolth's own divine soul. Every step felt heavier than the last. The air itself pressed against our lungs and made every breath labored.
When we at last overcame all the challenges and cleared the final wave of enemies, we stood before the altar where Flamie's soul had been confined for so long. We quickly realized that he was still present in some form, yet just as we had suspected, it was not truly his complete soul. It was only a "fragment," likely born from leftover energy and essence that had gathered over the years and formed something resembling a spirit.
