My mother quickly healed the worst of our injuries with practiced hands and then offered us several of her carefully prepared elixirs. We each drank four of them in succession. The potent liquid spread through our bodies almost immediately, rapidly restoring our drained stamina while the deep ache in our muscles slowly faded away.
"Phew, well, that was exhausting," my father sighed as he rolled his shoulders and stretched his neck. "I… I really didn't think it would be this damn tough."
"Yeah," my brother nodded in agreement, still catching his breath.
"Scale-wise, it's smaller than some of the bigger threats we've faced," I said while looking around at the scattered remains of the divine beasts. "But it felt harder than when we fought that True Demon invading the Dungeon. Do you remember that one, Dad?"
