Xiuying looked at the flowers she kept in the vase carefully. She suddenly felt a strange ambiance around her and picked the scissors she placed next to the vase and turned sharply.
''Xiuying!'' Kai held her hand fast when the scissors was just an inch from his eye.
Xiuying came back to her senses and stepped back. ''I'm sorry!'' She said and put the scissors back on the table.
''Xiuying, are you alright?'' Kai asked.
''Oh, I'm fine.'' Xiuying smiled awkwardly. ''Let's go out.'' Xiuying said and looked away.
When they arrived at the table, Kai sat next to Xiuying. The food was already served when they got there.
''Everyone is here. Tonight is such a wonderful night. My three girls are here with me. We also have two important people amongst us whom have made an impact in the lives of Xiuying and JingJing. Dr. Ye, Yohan, thank you for coming to have dinner with us. This means a lot to me, my wife and the girls.'' Mr. Yin spoke when everyone sat down at the table.
