A strange, invisible power of this world shielded them at all costs, treating every Player—including him and his towering pyramids—as harmless toys.
The living toys he had captured and destroyed often spoke of the "Toy Maker," an enigmatic god of toys. They believed that after death, they would be reborn as new playthings for new owners, forever repeating the cycle.
These toys saw themselves as vital to the world, bringing joy to the childhoods of their owners and shaping their futures. The more happiness they inspired, the better those owners would grow, becoming pillars of society.
