Meanwhile, behind me, Emeraldine pointed her bow into the skies, her two Divine Spirits floated around her, with Root as the third, who her two original spirits glared at strangely every time he appeared.
Root had not only made a contract with me after all, thanks to his great powers, he was able to also bond with Emeraldine, becoming her Familiar Spirit as well.
It was not common for this to happen usually, but yes, beings could become the familiar of multiple masters, if their "vessel" to take on their master's soul connection was big enough.
Root was, naturally, enormous, and very strong, so it was an easy task for someone of his caliber.
"Gyuuuh! Let me help, master!" Root said, as he enchanted her bow and her arrows. "That should do it!"
"Thank you Root! Let's help everyone then!" Emeraldine smiled, she was friendly with Root, making her original spirits a bit jealous of him, it didn't help they didn't consider him one of them.
