A second later and the battle quickly descended into chaos. Due to the disruption from the cacophony, the Man-eaters had created, Nathan and the others had little time to recover.
Taking advantage of this, the Man-eaters rushed at them, using their numbers to overwhelm them. Within seconds, their defensive strategy was destroyed.
"We have to do something." Nathan panicked. He had not accounted for such a situation, leaving him completely blank as things got to this stage.
"Don't worry, just focus on activating any other defensive mechanism you planted. We will take care of the Man-eaters that got in." Elena assured after which she quickly left with Indra following closely behind.

"Shit, they are too many of them," Freya remarked as she struggled to keep the Man-eaters back. Unfortunately, a few breaths were all it took for her to be surrounded.
Unsure of what to do, she swung her spear every which way, already completely disoriented.
