Kara POV
Diana got up to change clothes as I grabbed her stuff to wait in the hallway as she turned out the lights as I grabbed the bags while she locked up.
We held hands as we got in my car to drive out of Oxford to drive to France.
With the drive I answered questions she had for me as we arrived to the village.
Diana: Do the villagers know about you?
Kara: Yes, we have a community like the witches do.
Diana: Does your mother know we're coming?
Kara: Yes.
I wasn't so sure she bought that but we arrived to the estate of Sept-Tours as I see my mother waiting by the stairs, oh great.
We got out as I got the bags as we approached the stairs.
Kara: Diana, I like you to meet my mother, Ysabeau De Clermont.
I knew Ysabeau despises witches for what happened to Philippe but I know that.
Kara: Well now, shall we continue this inside?
Ysabeau stepped aside to let us walk in but I know how she's looking at her with those eyes.
As then I saw Marthe, she helps out around here for years.
Kara: (Catalan) Hello Marthe. How are you?
We hugged as I kissed her face.
Marthe: (Catalan) So, so.
Kara: This is my friend, Diana.
Marthe looked to Diana.
Marthe: Welcome.
Kara: Marthe has been in our family for centuries.
Diana: Hello.
Marthe: She needs some rest, I'll make her room.
Kara: She will be sleeping in my tower so I'll do it.
I walked to follow Marthe as I left Diana behind but I know the look Ysabeau is probably giving her.
We walked up the tower as I put the bags down to open the curtains and checked the bed.
Kara: You need to get some rest.
Diana: Your mother doesn't want me here.
Kara: She is just remembering my father Philippe was killed.
Diana: How did he die?
Kara: It was World War 2, I'll give you time to get situated.
I walked out to get a call from Matthew saying him and Angela are on there way.
I walked to see you Ysabeau looking out the window in the living room.
Kara: Just say it.
Ysabeau: There's nothing to say.
Kara: I know you want to say something, so do it now.
Ysabeau: You brought her here.
Kara: Cause of the Congregation, Diana found the Book of Life so they wanna get there hands on it.
Ysabeau looked at me for more.
Kara: I'm in love with her momma, can you please get along, the witches already stole from her.
Ysabeau sighed.
