When they finally parted their lips, they layed in each others arms. Listening to their breath steadying and the sounds of their hearts beat.
Marcus was the first to break the silence.
" Trey is fine. He is with Julie." He paused for a few seconds then said.
" They will be here tonight."
" Wait..." Roxy said slightly moving away from his arms, and raised her head.
" Julie will be coming ? " She asked surprised.
" Yes she will." He responded playing with a strand of her hair then placing it behind her ears.
" Does she... Know? " She asked a little bit worried.
" He will tell her. Don't worry." Saying that, he leaned to kiss her forehead.
" But ... What are you actually? " She asked him. She was a little bit hesitant but she deserved to know everything.
" Well... A supernatural being. " He said grinning at her. She shot him a glare which says
' I am aware of that. ' He smiled then said.
" For now, there is just one thing i can tell you babe... " He paused for a few seconds then looked at her in the eyes intensely.
" I am a vampire." He said then a silence followed. He expected her to be scared. Not much but a little bit.
But no. She looked at him like she was waiting for him to say something else, which shocked him.
" Aren't you scared?" He asked.
" Why should I be?" She asked him with a mocking tone.
" I just said I was not human." He said matter of factly.
" And so?" She asked him smiling.
" If you wanted to hurt me you would have done it long ago, Marc." She said caressing his face, then leaned to smack him.
" I did hurt you." He said his eyes moistening.
" I did hurt you very badly... Because of me... Your life could never be the same as it was back then." He sat down turning away from her, his back facing her.
His arms on his knees, his hands covering his face.
