"You shouldn't have to thank us for worrying about you," Michael said, "We're friends, were are supposed to worry about you, I'm sorry if we haven't been much of friends for a while now." He sounded sincere, both Charlie and Nine agreed with him.
Honestly, they all felt guilty that they had sided with Dom when this whole issue started. They should have never sided with him at the expense of betraying Natasha's trust and friendship with them.
It was only human to take sides, but when taking sides leads to hating one another, things should have never come to that level. Now they could see clearly since her name was cleared, honestly, they felt so stupid to actually start to believe Natasha was capable of everything she was accused with.
"Guys, it's fine, I've forgiven you all, honestly." Natasha chuckled.
"You might have, but still, we were wrong." Nine said.
"That is true, but I don't blame you, it's not your fault." Natasha said. "I know the bro rules and you guys were just sticking with your friend like the good friends you are."
"Had it been the other way round and it was one of you guys that had been in that situation, I would have taken sides with you." Natasha smiled.
"Thank you for being so understanding Natasha." Charlie said.
"Don't mention it." She smiled.
"Joy was really out cold; I couldn't even wake her up to put on her pjs." Dom chuckled as he walked back into living room.
"Did you change her clothes though, because she's been running around up and down all day sweating and she didn't take a shower before she fell asleep." Natasha said.
"Don't worry, I wore her pjs." Dom smiled.
"Good." Natasha replied. Nine, Charlie and Michael watched their interaction. They had to admit that it was certainly far better than the time they could not stand being in the same room with each other, however, their conversation was so stale. It was so generic, there was no laughter, no actual friendliness, it sounded more like a duty type of relationship than anything else.
"Anyway, what did I miss?" Dom asked as he sat down on the carpet.
"Nothing much, nothing at all really." Charlie replied as he, Nine and Michael all sat down on the couch.
"I'm backkkkk, I brought all the board games I could find." Lulu rushed in; her hands filled with various boxes of different bored games.
"Isn't this a little bit too much? I mean, we can't play all of them." Dom said.
"I know that of course, we can choose which game we want to play first and as the evening progresses, we will know what to do." Lulu smiled, she placed all the boxes on the ground and sat down on the carpet beside Dom.
Natasha switched off the tv, there was no point of it being on while they were all focused on something else.
"So, what should we play first?" Lulu asked excitedly.
"I honestly have no idea; it's been a while since I've played a bored game." Michael chuckled.
"I agree, this is making me feel so old." Charlie laughed.
"Me too." Dom laughed.
"Okay, what about monopoly?" Lulu asked.
"Umm, no." everyone said in a chorus.
"What? Why?" Lulu asked.
"It's just too much." Dom said.
"It's so long, everyone has to buy all the properties before things actually start to get interesting, besides, I'm not prepared to stay up till midnight playing with fake money and properties." Natasha said.
"Nicely put Natasha." Nine said as the others chuckled.
"Alright fine, gosh, I really wanted to play it though." Lulu said.
"Not today, Lulu, maybe another day." Michael said as she frowned.
"Fine," she said putting the box away. "What about Jenga?" she asked.
"No way, Charlie's cursed when it comes to that game, he always ends up falling on the tower." Michael frowned; he seemed to be recalling some highly unpleasant memories.
"I agree, he's a disaster waiting to happen in Jenga." Dom laughed.
"It's true, it can't be helped, I know my weaknesses and I accept them." Charlie said as Nine scoffed.
"That's not true, food is one of your weaknesses and you refuse to accept it." Nine said.
"Hey, don't come in between me and lovely food, stay on your lane Nine, and I'll stay on mine." Charlie said as Natasha shook her head.
"Fine, no Jenga, what about twister?" Lulu asked as everyone suddenly broke into laughter.
"What's so funny?" she asked confused.
"I can't remember the last time I played that game, must have been when I was a teenager." Dom laughed.
"I know right, I don't even think my body can twist anymore." Charlie said.
"Hey, you guys just keep on saying no to all my suggestions, besides, Charlie, you can twist, don't think I haven't seen you when it's time for lunch and you go on a sprint just to make sure you get the best meal before anyone else." Lulu narrowed her eyes at him. He laughed and ignored her while Nine chuckled.
"I have to admit, twister is a no for me." Michael laughed, he didn't want to wake up with an aching pain all over his body tomorrow.
"Aww, Nine?" Lulu turned to him with her soft eyes.
"Sorry Lulu, me neither, not twister." He replied.
"Natasha." Lulu batted her eyes at her and her lips quivered slowly.
"Sorry Lulu, I have to agree, twister is just going to twist my insides, and I don't want to have to get rid of all the ice cream I ate." Natasha laughed.
"Aww, fine, fine." Lulu said, she began to sift through all the boxes and bored games until she finally found one that she hoped they would be unable to reject.
"Aha! What about scrabble?" she asked hopefully.
She watched as Nine, Michael, Dom, Charlie and Natasha all exchanged glances with one another before finally turning to her and saying, "Yes, scrabble."
Lulu's face lit up when she heard them all finally agree on something. She smiled excitedly and began to unbox the game.
She put the board on the coffee table and stopped her actions when she suddenly realized something very important.
"What is it, Lulu?" Dom asked.
"Scrabble is for four players and there are six of us." She frowned.
"Oh, that's an easy fix, me and Charlie always play together as a team since he needs an intelligent mind." Michael said as Charlie frowned, and the others broke into laughed.
"You did not have to make it sound so insulting." Charlie scowled.
"I'm sorry, but it's the truth, right?" Michael laughed.
"That may be so, but you don't have to make it sound like I am that dumb." Charlie said.
"Awww, no one said that Charlie, you're not dumb, we're a team." Michael gave him a hug.
"We better be." Charlie frowned.
Lulu handed them all their tile racks, she shook the bag filled with all the letters and she shook it violently in an attempt to scramble all the letters.
"Who is going first?" Dom asked.
"Everyone pick a letter." Lulu said handing each of them the bag so they could pick a tile.
"We'll decide who will go first based on which letter you get, for example, if someone gets the letter A, obviously they are first and the letter that follows is who will go next and so on." Lulu said.
"That's a really good way to choose who goes first." Natasha chuckled as she picked out a tile.
"I agree." Michael laughed.
"Why do you guys say that? How did you used to choose who gets first when you played together?" Lulu asked confused.
"Rock, paper, scissors." They all said in a chorus.
"No way, you guys used that childish game to pick who got to go first." Lulu laughed in disbelief.
"Yes, we actually used to do that and Michael used to cheat all the time." Charlie said.
"Hey, no I don't, if there's anyone who always cheated it would be you." Michael turned to Charlie.
"Guys, stop it, the both of you cheated all the time." Natasha laughed.
"Hey, if I cheated, it's only because Charlie starts cheating first." Michael said while Natasha, Dom and Lulu laughed while Nine simply shook his head.
"Anyway, what did you get?" Lulu asked.
"I got an A." Dom said showing the tile as proof.
"Aww, what luck." Charlie scoffed.
"I know right, Dom's always so lucky." Lulu scoffed.
"Hey, you make it sound like it's my fault I happened to get A." Dom laughed.
"It is, moving on, what did you get Natasha?" Lulu turned to her.
"I got an N." Natasha chuckled, what were the odds of her getting the first letter of her name.
"That's funny, but rough, you might be last." Lulu laughed.
"Charlie." She turned to Charlie since he had picked the tile for he and Michael.
"I got an M." Charlie replied. "Hehe, we are ahead of you Natasha." He laughed.
"Yeah, seems so." Natasha laughed.
"What about you Nine?" Lulu asked.
"I got a B." he said.
"Aww." Charlie frowned, he was looking forward to going second.
"Lovely, and I got an E." Lulu laughed and waved her tile in the air happily.
