Quickly, the four took the elevator to the 14th floor. Accompanying them were a family of three.
Despite being an apartment, it exuded a lively atmosphere.
After exiting the elevator, the four didn't go over immediately. Instead, they gathered together.
"Old Captain, do you remember the person who rented from you?"
"I have some impression. Quite skinny, prominent cheekbones, seemed to have a bad temper."
"How was his attitude? Was he polite when talking to you?"
"He was quite polite, but didn't talk much, and was rather generous. He didn't haggle, hardly negotiated, just went ahead and rented the place."
"How long did he rent for?"
"A quarter," the middle-aged man said:
"Initially, he said he wanted to rent for a month, but I told him there's no such thing as renting for a month, it's all quarterly. He didn't say much, just agreed."
"From the looks of it, that doesn't really fit the profile of a typical renter," Lin Yi said.
