Kidd's words made Chen Wending's face change.
Getting burned by Lin Yi before had left a blaze of anger smoldering in Chen Wending's chest.
So many days had passed, and he'd been waiting for his chance all along.
He'd been secretly plotting for days on end, finally got his opportunity, yet Kidd refused to back his move, even told him to wait for someone else to make the first move.
Chen Wending couldn't accept that, because this was his battle to wash away humiliation!
And Kidd's words were more like lighting his powder keg, driving the fire in his chest straight to the peak.
"Thanks for the suggestion, I'll think about it."
Forcing the anger down, Chen Wending left.
Kidd sat where he was, silently smoking.
When he finished one cigarette, Kidd picked up his phone and dialed a number.
"There's been some trouble in Northern Ouzhou. I'm planning to head back. Let them handle the Asia-Pacific situation themselves."
"You guys are split on this now?"
