With a huge leap the gnobe went after Ellor using almost the same move she had just used against it, the only difference being the weapon and height of the jump. She was now on one knee and couldn't get do much on time, at that exact moment, she turned to her right and looked at her sword that was lying on the ground just some feet away.
As the club landed on her, she managed to parry the club to her left using the force of the attack against it, and in the same motion rolled towards her sword, kicked it up and with a fancy looking turn managed to slice half into the gnobe's wrist with her weaker left hand. The gnobe had reacted quickly after kicking her back, giving her no time to think with the follow up attack, and it actually did manage to catch its enemy off guard, but unfortunately at the last moment the enemy managed to deflect part of his attack and didn't receive the full force instead had injured him on his dominant left wrist which he was holding the club in.
