Six months later.
Night falls.
The early summer nights have become somewhat stifling. Even with the air conditioning on, Elliana Lyle is still unwilling to cover herself with a blanket.
Now that her due date is approaching, Elliana makes Norman Bennett too anxious to fall into a deep sleep at night.
"It's so hot~ I don't want to cover myself with a blanket." Elliana only feels an overwhelming heat all over her body.
If she covers herself, she feels hot, but if she doesn't, she feels cold after a while. She just can't find a comfortable temperature, especially since Norman insists on holding her to sleep during this hot summer!
It's like adding a furnace to the heat.
"Norman, can you move over a bit?" she tentatively suggests.
The man, who was coaxing her to cover herself with the blanket, is taken aback and then his face darkens, "Are you disliking me?"
His tone carries a hint of grievance.
