"No... don't." Elliana Lyle tightly grasped Norman Bennett's hand holding her face, shaking her head insistently as tears kept sliding down from the corners of her eyes.
She didn't want him to go out, she didn't want to lose him. So many people were out there, all ruthless and merciless. She didn't even have to think to know the outcome if he went out.
"Listen!" The man sternly scolded her and started to make her let go. She refused to let go, so he began to pry each of her fingers away, not using much force, but she was quickly losing her grip.
She started to panic, her tears blurring her vision, she even felt a touch of suffocation.
"Stop wasting time. I'll go." Joy Lyle, already prepared, strapped on her gun and made ready to leave.
Nancy sat alone in the corner watching the scene, arms wrapped around her legs, chin resting on her knees. She wondered... what could she do even if she went back?
