Lilly Rose nodded silently.
Susan had been long gone. The maid walked her to her car because she refused to disturb them, as she teasingly said before she got up from her chair.
And now, they are still in the same position Susan left them. Sitting next to each other, too close for her comfort but she wasn't moving nor complaining.
Something deep inside her awakens while watching Susan discuss her problem with Matthew.
