Lilly Rose's jaw dropped with what she heard. She could not believe it! When did she come home in Noel's arms. When she got back her bearing, she turned to face Matthew.

Matthew just punched himself inwardly at how stupid he was. He let his jealousy get the better of him and sprouted nonsense to his wife. Of course, Lilly Rose didn't come home in the arms of another man. Her friend was just supporting her arm because she was shaky on her feet due to alcohol but never in the arms of another man. It was the green monster lurking in his head that thought so.
He heaved a deep sigh. "I'm sorry. You didn't."
Lilly Rose furrowed her brows and stared at Matthew. She was biting her tongue, stopping herself to spill the question that was on the tip of her tongue. She knew the answer to it. There was no reason to ask because there was no way in hell that her husband would get jealous of her male friend. They were married out of a business deal and nothing more.
