"I know this matter isn't your mom's fault, but right now your great-grandmother can't be left alone here. She's still in a vegetative state, and I need to be here with her. You need to comfort your mom well, and once your parents settle things here, we'll come to see you."
Mason and Bianca heard Liam's words and felt a bit sad in their hearts. That was their great-grandmother who had always been with them.
They felt particularly reluctant but seemed to have no other way. They're already little adults now and can't make their mom sad anymore.
"We understand, Dad. You take good care of great-grandma in the hospital, and we'll be there for Mom."
After Liam gave them some instructions, he hung up the phone and then looked at his grandmother still in the hospital room. He simply didn't know what to do.
But now he must calm down; this matter can only be solved by him.
