After that day, rumors spread across the school that Ryouko was into other girls, and it didn't take long for her to be bullied for it. She didn't know where the rumors had started, but she was glad that she was the only one involved in those rumors. As long as Ayami could be kept safe, she was willing to sacrifice herself. Hence, she never fought back, nor did she reveal anything to anyone.
Even when she met up with Ayami after school, she would pretend as if she had been injured during PE, and Ayami would not question it any further.
