While flying, Yasenia's mind was racing. 'Did the [Crimson Lotus Hall] people really come for revenge? Even after that?'
Yasenia felt that it was surreal. The fact that the person couldn't understand that he only lived because she was merciful baffled her. 'Are juniors here that reckless when dealing with Transcendence Realm Cultivators? When I was a mortal, I stood on tiptoes around them…'
She was thinking about what would be the cause to be able to disrespect an immortal as a mortal. After thinking, she came to a conclusion. 'One family member is probably a Seventh Realm cultivator. Otherwise, it makes no sense that he is so fearless of me. If he didn't have such a powerful backing, the logical course of action would've been to deal with me after the Secret Realm. The arrogance he is showing must be related to his connection with someone at the Seventh Realm.'
With that in mind, Yasenia was honestly doubtful about how to deal with that man. 'If I kill him, I will be discovered. Even if this is a Secret Realm, the fact that we got into a confrontation is easy to learn. Then, even if it is to pacify their rage, I will become a victim.'
A deep sigh left her, cold calculations moving in her mind. 'Even then… I have no other option. If their seniors are the indifferent type, they might force me to marry that guy through soft threats. If they are the meddlesome type, they might even threaten me or make me his cultivation furnace.'
Yasenia's thoughts went to the talismans Tatyana gave her a long time ago. 'I have two blows… Can they even defeat a Seventh Realm cultivator in one hit?'
She knew that her mother was similar to her, being able to fight above her own level. Even then, being able to kill a Seventh Realm cultivator in one blow was an entirely different matter.
Lataria's voice reached Yasenia. "Why are you showing such a worried expression?"
Yasenia smiled wryly and explained her reasoning. "...So, I am backed between a wall and a hard place."
Lataria listened to everything and also became thoughtful. "Even then… You were able to easily face those people. Why would you be feeling danger now?"
Yasenia was not confused in that regard. "Clearly, that man also knows about my strength. Therefore, he most likely moved other sects with benefits. His type is a man who can't take a loss. So, as long as it is to rebuild the reputation I tarnished, he will use any and all means."
Lataria hummed. "That's quite plausible… So, what's your plan?"
Yasenia stayed silent before chuckling. "Well, isn't it clear? There is only one way to deal with these kinds of people. Kill the child, kill the parent, and kill the ancestor. I'll deal with them as they come. Also, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Since they are a demonic sect, they must have enemies, and I can use those enemies as protection."
Lataria's eyebrow rose. "Oh? When you put it that way, your situation is not that dire."
Yasenia smiled wryly. "The problem is that I am part of a weak power. I need to gather all the hatred about this on me so that they don't get involved."
Lataria chuckled. "I didn't expect this. You are actually quite caring."
The dragoness looked at Lataria for a second and didn't answer. 'More than merciful… If they use the sect as hostages and I respond in a lukewarm manner, those who might ally towards my cause might become repulsed. To face a Demonic Sect, you need to show righteousness so that the elders of their opposing factions react for you.'
Her senses were stretched taut, and she looked at her surroundings. 'They must not be near. What can we do to lose them, or at least confuse them and separate them?'
While thinking, Yasenia noticed that Lataria was quite calm. 'Is she not planning on helping me? Perhaps, in her mind, it is better to betray me and give me to the demonic sect so that she is not involved.'
Lataria chuckled. "Don't look at me so suspiciously. Don't worry, I don't plan on backstabbing you. My morals are not… common. I will not stand for an injustice happening in front of me if I have the strength to back it up."
Hearing those words was mildly surprising. "I didn't expect you to be this kind of person. I thought you were much more materialistic."
"Why? Didn't I let you on that platform without asking anything in return?"
The dragoness snorted once. "Clearly, you were trying to make me owe you a favor. Moreover, from what you've shown, you were attracted to me. In this case, what you searched for was not materials, but me."
Lataria's lips twitched. She couldn't deny that the reason for her help was slightly biased because Yasenia was beautiful and she was interested. However, hearing it so crudely made her somewhat hurt. "Either way, I will help you. Trust me this once."
Yasenia nodded. "Since that's the case, here is the plan."
Lataria listened attentively and nodded, her eyes flashing with interest. "I didn't know you could do something like that? I wonder what they will do."
After exchanging a few words, they began executing their plan.
Several kilometers behind them, the pursuers were baffled. One of them asked, confused. "How were we discovered? We were using perfect stealth and treasures. Not even a peak-level Transcendence Realm cultivator should've been able to detect us in this Secret Realm."
The leader of the [Crimson Lotus Hall] was not that surprised. "This just shows how particular she is as a Dragon. Her bloodline level must be high. Change of plans, try to capture her if we can. She will serve well for our Young Master."
A cold female voice reached him. "Our Young Mistress of the [Blood Moon Hall] would like a part of her. Since she is high-level, her blood must be a great tonic. A bath in her blood will speed up our Young Mistress's cultivation speed."
"Dragons have plenty of blood. I don't see how our opinions conflict."
The cold female spoke sharply. "Your Young Master is lecherous, but the only redeeming quality of that boy is that he treats his toys with care. I don't think that he would allow us to extract her blood in large quantities after he gets his hands on her. Moreover, with the dragon's beauty, she might even gain some advantages in your Young Master's harem."
The man couldn't deny that. While his Young Master stole females he liked, at least he didn't treat them horribly. Of course, that didn't mean that he didn't violate them. The treatment referred to the care outside of their "duties" as a female slave. Objectively, it was still horrendous behavior.
"We can do it secretly. When the Young Master goes into seclusion, we can capture and get some dragon parts in secret." The man's words were not bad, so the woman stopped speaking.
"Now that we've solved our conflict of interest… Hm?" All 17 cultivators stopped and frowned. They looked left, right, and center. Confused as to how Yasenia's trace suddenly divided into three.
"What trick is this? Our [Blood Moon Pursuing Array] should be impossible to deceive in this manner. At most, it would show an incorrect path, not branching directions."
Looking back and forth, the man came to a quick conclusion. "Let's divide our forces. We are seventeen cultivators, so even if we divide into three, there should be enough to trap that powerful dragon and wait for the rest of us."
Nobody disagreed, so they all separated. Each of the three participating sects took one of the paths. The [Blood Moon Hall] people, four women and two men, looked around cautiously as they followed Yasenia's trail.
While following, suddenly, their surroundings shifted. The space changed into a void, full of stars, galaxies, and planets.
Looking around, their faces turned serious, and they quickly activated their own Intent Domains; all Intents were Level Three Intent Domains.
"[Blood River Intent Domain]."
"[Night Falling Intent Domain]."
"[Desperation Moon Intent Domain]."
"[Blood Moon Intent Domain]."
"[Blood Sword Intent Domain]!"
"[Dark Path Intent Domain]!"
Six auras exploded outward, badly deforming their surroundings. However, as their power expanded outward, they saw five water spheres flying down quickly. These spheres shone and enveloped the bodies of five of them before they could even react.
All of them showed stern expressions before quickly trying to deal with them. The woman at the lead was the only one who was not surrounded. "Attack the barriers and break them! I'll hold them back!"
"Can you?" A voice appeared by her side, as if a ghost had suddenly manifested there. As she turned around, she saw the dragon woman swing a giant sword at her. The sword exploded outward with scorching energies.
"[Celestal Sunder]!"
The woman was barely able to use her [Blood Moon Intent Domain] to protect her body before the sword struck her.
BOOM!!
Pain filled her body as her body flew back, a large gash gushing out blood from her right shoulder. "Tsk. You blew your surprise attack by talking, you ignorant dragon."
Yasenia rushed at her with a smile. The woman didn't understand that smile, and suddenly the threat of death enveloped her body. Her ring flashed, and a bead appeared on her hand. She quickly crushed the bead, creating a dark sphere around her.
CLANG!
A terrifying force struck behind her. Turning around, she noticed a blue-feathered Divine swinging her sword covered with pressurized water at her.
"You!?"
"Tsk. I didn't expect a [Dark Moon Shield]. Weren't items prohibited?"
The woman slashed at Lataria, blood and cold darkness enveloping her sword. "I had this treasure on my person. Just in case." She sneered as she exchanged blows with the Divine. "Now that I blocked your surprise attack, you are all done for. The rest will arrive quickly, and you will be captured."
Lataria showed no signs of flusteredness. "Oh, I am so scared. How about you first try to survive?"
BOOM!!
Behind the woman, Yasenia's aura exploded like a bomb as several different auras interlocked within her. Her strength, now approaching her peak, was so overwhelming that everyone stopped for a moment.
Yasenia stepped forward, Pegasus Gallop unfolding and carrying her body. "[Firmament Shaking Arc]!"
Her body surged with strength, and Yasenia slashed forward. The environment around them seemed to follow her sword as stars and other celestial bodies moved with her strike. The woman's face turned ugly when Lataria disappeared from her side. "Good luck defending."
The woman shouted. "Don't underestimate me! [Absolute Blood Moon Defense]!"
A red moon enveloped her body, but Yasenia's strike didn't slow down. "A single moon trying to block the cosmos… A frail defense."
CRASH! BOOM!!
The woman's body was struck and flew back, blood gushing out from her mouth. 'What is this strength!? Monster!'
Yasenia, with her strength, started her fight against the seventeen enemies.
