I got cheered on like never before. I've always hunted these beasts on my own accord. Returning to the War Hall was a breeze, because I didn't walk with my own two feet. They carried me like a victory trophy there!

However, fatty showed up again.

"You've got another silly mission to tend to, eh?" He said, holding three cans of packaged food. Pft! How much was he gonna swallow at once!?

"Fidteen beasts to tame again. Are y'all ready for tomorrow!?"

They sent us BACK to the frozen edge of Kilimanjaro at dawn, but the sun didn't even bother showing up. Gray clouds smothered the sky like a dead god's ashes, and the wind tore at my leather armor like it wanted to take a bite out of me. Cute. Let it try.

"Welcome back to the War Hall," our training captain grunted, his belly jiggling under his plated chest guard as he pointed toward a set of ancient stone pillars emerging from snow and smoke.
