Joanna Frost pointed to the food on the table but her gaze was fixed intently on the girl.
She only smiled when she saw her pick up the chopsticks.
"Thank you," Claire Green, somewhat unnerved by her intense gaze, responded in an unnatural tone, "You should eat too."
"Yes, Mom, you should eat as well. Don't just keep staring at Claire."
Caleb Green said, giving her a meaningful glance, hinting for her to be more reserved.
That kind of gaze would make anyone uncomfortable.
With his words pulling her back, Joanna Frost gave an apologetic smile and lowered her head to start eating, though her eyes still occasionally drifted toward the girl.

Andrew Green, seemingly casual, said, "Julian, what's the situation between you and Miss Green..."
