"Then a couple of days ago he tried to sneak away, but within two hours he was caught by Thomas Skin."
The ends of Claire Green's eyes lifted lazily, her thin lips curved with a hint of mischief.
"What's it got to do with me," she said casually, her tone carrying an inexplicable blandness.
The Nether Lord twitched at her calm demeanor.

"Old Cat covered his tracks first, and then got sold out by your brother Drake White," The Nether Lord's voice mixed with schadenfreude, his tone uncontrollably rising at the end.
