As soon as Claire Green arrived at Capital City airport, her phone rang with a call from an unfamiliar number.
"Is this Emma White? Have you arrived at the airport?" came a young man's voice from the other end of the line.
Claire Green, using a voice changer, answered in a flat tone, "Yes, I have."
She wasn't surprised that the other party knew her number; they had been in contact via text before she came.
"I'll send someone to pick you up," the man said, momentarily startled upon hearing Claire's voice, obviously not expecting Emma White to be a boy.
And he sounded quite young.
"No need, just send me the address," Claire Green said, striding out with long legs, refusing him over the phone.
The man didn't insist and readily agreed.
Soon, a text came through.
Seeing the address, Claire Green's beautiful eyebrows arched slightly.
Leaving the airport, she took a taxi straight to the city center and walked right into Holywood Mansion.
