King Adonis
"By some miracle I fell pregnant."
I could barely breathe once those six words slipped past her lips. My world had come to such an abrupt stop that if I was in a car I would have probably flown out the windscreen. All the blood rushed to my head as I just tried to remember how to think.
"W-what do you mean you fell pregnant?" I gaped.
A tear rolled down her left cheek and she quickly wiped it off with the sleeve of her jersey. "Gordon and I a few years after Princess Iris was born we were expecting a little boy."
"I have a little brother," I was astonished.
"Yes my King," she nodded as she looked down to her hands, "he isn't little that much anymore now. Would you like to see him?"
A part of me wanted to say no and my inner bratty child wanted to call her a liar. That my father would never keep such a big secret from us, but he had a whole other life when he left the Palace. How could I defend someone who did the opposite of what he had taught us?
