I smiled politely and stepped on inside getting straight down to the reason I came up so early. " We just come up here to get Xavier, he was asleep when Chloe and Skyler returned home. " Sure, sure,darling, he's in Andie's room just go on back. I know their up, I seen Zack and Xavier earlier getting something from the fridge."Luna Melinda muttered, pointing down the hallway.

Only tapping once on the bedroom door to hear Andie shout from inside the room." come in"
Pushing the door open we stepped inside to the comical sight of Xavier resting between Zack and Andie,using their body like a lounge chair.
His back was leaned against Zack's stomach and his feet were propped up on Andie's side. His butt rested between them on the bed while the three of them watched a Pinocchio movie.
Glancing over his shoulder Zack greeted us with a smile ."Damien, Addie, I didn't expect to see you this early."
"Dada" Xavier squealed, squirming out of his resting spot and flipped over Zack's stomach hastily trying to come to me.
My heart swelled with pride seeing my boy so excited about me being here. And actually I'm not sure if I grinned more or if he did. But either way, I stepped on over and grab my son. Giving Zack a brief explanation for our early arrival.
" Just came by to grab this bruiser. " I said tickling Xavier's little belly making him squirm and giggle in my arms."Did he give you any problems?"

"No,not at all" I said, setting up on the bed and straightened my posture to giving Damien a brief rundown of how our morning went."We had a busy morning starting with a conference at five. After our early morning meeting we took a break.Then we watched a couple of Teddy Graham warriors do some combat training."
Damien raised a brow with a grin on his face.
" Hum, Early morning conference, sounds kinda familiar. I think we can blame my dad for his scheduling. Dad gets him up early on the weekends to go fishing . Their up and out of the house usually by six every morning."
Now it was my turn to raised a brow. " Your dad gets him up?" I ask, out of curiosity because I couldn't imagine Alpha Jack actually taking care of a baby by himself.
The old guy looks like a stoic old college professor .You know, the type that reprimands you just for slumping in your chair or chugging gum in his class .
Damien chuckled a bit at my reaction and shrugged his shoulders . "Yeah he does, he's not the same man that raised me. Not with Xavier at least, he spends at least three or four hours every day with Xavier. Just the two of them hanging out going fishing or playing in the floor together while I catch up on my paperwork. Then he goes home and takes mom shopping to buy all the grandkids new clothes they don't need. But that's just an excuse to come back to my house later that night for dinner."
"You live in the pack house by yourself?" Addie ask , gawking up at Damien in disbelief.
" Not exactly ," Damien sighed,apparently he hadn't told Addie much about his pack yet. Which I could totally understand, who the hell wants to talk about a pack house when you're mate is waiting for you to mark them .
But he glanced around nonchalantly waving his hand around the room and tried to briefly explain his living arrangements to Addie without going into a lot of detail ."My pack house is a little different than what you're used to here. I live in what my pack calls the Alpha's house. It doesn't have a bunch of guest rooms,a commercial kitchen,or a banquet hall like this pack house. Those are all in a separate building,my house is a normal six bedroom family home.You'll see Monday when we get home from Seattle."
" So we have a whole house just for the three of us with a separate yard and everything? No risk of interruptions like last night?"Addie ask hesitatingly ,gazing up at Damien with hopeful eyes.
Damien winked "That's right kitten, it will be just the three of us. Well the two of us most of the time. I have a lady who comes once a week to clean and do laundry. And another lady who cooks dinner on the weekends when I have Xavier. But since I only have Xavier on the weekends that's all the help I need. Nobody will interrupt us at night unless there's an emergency in the pack." He explained then turned his attention back to me " What's that girls problem anyway?"
I smirked having a good idea what it might be but I wasn't going to just come right out and ask Damien if he hooked up with Brandy at my party. " I don't know, have you ever met her before perhaps she has a crush on you?"I said half jokingly.
But Damien just frowned and shook his head. " No, I can't remember every seeing the girl before last night. And I know for a fact that I have never been on a date or anything with her. I left my party days behind me about three years ago when I became a father, Alpha, and CEO of two companies.."He stated, patting Xavier on his little chubby thigh to make his point.
I scratched my chin thoughtfully " Hum, I guess you can ask her after breakfast when you decide on her punishment."
"I'll do that" Damien agreed "I'm curious to know if she has a problem with me or Addie. And hopefully what ever her problem is we can resolve it today."
"I'm sure after she realizes that you're scent has intertwined with Addie's now, she'll give up on what ever crazy idea she had." I reassured him, and laughed when both of them sniffed their own arms." Come on let's go on down to the dining room. Then after breakfast you can come to the dungeon with Skyler and me. We have a few questions to ask our special guest there anyway." I suggested stepping on over to open the door just as a tapping sounded from the other side.
Swinging the door open I see Skyler standing there talking on his phone with a scowl on his face. With Chloe standing beside him not looking much better.
' What's wrong' I ask through the mind link.
'Kim Davis brought cocaine to the club last night. I need to fly to LA. tonight to revoke her contract for misconduct.'He sent back grumpily.
' And this surprised you after going to that party at her house last summer.If I remember correctly you actually snorted a line off her ass while she was blowing me.But why fly when your little witch can take you there in a blink of an eye.' I sent back, motioning for everyone to follow me to the dining room.
'You're right,I already have Preston getting the paperwork together. Chloe can take us to my house in Santa Monica and we can met with Preston and Kim in the morning at the club. Then we should be back by tomorrow night.' He sent back ignoring my reminder about his wild behavior at Kim's party. The man has no boundaries what so ever.
' Are you going to take Chloe to the club?' I ask,meeting his eyes as I pushed the heavy wooden door open to the dining room pausing to let everyone else go inside.
He grinned at me and sent back. ' If she wants to go, sure. I don't see why not it might be a good opportunity to explore. You know, just to see how much she's comfortable with.'
I pulled Andie's chair out and raised a brow in his direction. 'Just how much are YOU going to be comfortable with?'I ask in his head stressing the word you.
His kinky ass grinned mischievously. ' More then you think. Maybe I can get her to watch a scene to see if it makes her hot and go from there.'
His reply made me want to laugh but I couldn't because my dad was asking me a question about a pipeline that was damaged last week in a mudslide. I had to keep a serious expression on my face while I explained how the damage was repaired and the EPA approved us to continue using it.
After setting a good time for Skyler and Chloe to leave tonight breakfast went off with out a hitch. All the women except for our grandmothers deciding to go shopping in Juneau to buy a few things for the apartment over the garage. Apparently Chloe and Skyler have decided to live there and she wants to redecorate one of the bedrooms for Xavier.
So after everyone was done eating I gave Andie a peck on the cheek and laid her new debit card on the table beside her." Have fun shopping sweetheart I'll see you this afternoon when you get back."
She just rolled her eyes and shoved the debit card back towards me." I can't use that."
" Yes you can, look at." I smirked, when she glanced down at the card and her eyes widened.
"But.. but I have my own money." She protested.
My mom sputtered a little chuckle with a nonchalant wave of her hand."Oh darling just take it. You're never going to win this one. It would probably cripple his Alpha ego for you to give it back."
And on the other end of the table Damien was looking heartbroken when Addie pushed his credit card back into his hand saying " I just sold Black Magic for three hundred and fifty thousand last week. I don't want that."
" Black Magic, what the hell is that?" Damien grumbled .
Addie giggle laying a gentle hand over his that was still holding on to his master card."The race horse grandpa gave me for my seventeenth birthday. He has an excellent bloodline and has been showing a lot of promise on the track." She answered honestly.
" Just tuck your card and your pride back in your wallet son."Beta Thomas murmured giving Damien's shoulders a reassuring squeeze . "She's just an old horse trader like her grandpa. We let her stay in Kentucky too much with him and he taught her everything he knows about the stable business. She hasn't even ask me for money since she was twelve years old."
" I'm not even going to ask." Skyler huffed standing up from the table."Unlike these two knot heads I've done my research and know my girl can take care of herself.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his damn cocky attitude."Yeah right, What damn research?It's not research if the whole country already knows that you're girlfriend owns a line of cosmetics and skin care products ."I shot back. " What the hell did you do go to mall?"
"Now now Zack, be nice he might of actually seen one of those full page ads in one of those glamour magazines. You know the ones with Chloe's face plastered on it." Damien said jokingly.
"Come on let's just get this done." Skyler grumbled walking towards the door mumbling something about " at least I know who I'm marrying." Under his breath like Damien and I didn't have a clue who Andie and Addie are.
Which I found hilarious since both of us have detailed files on our mates whole family and their pack.
