Walking out of the bathroom, I smile at the sight that greets me.
My beautiful mate was lying on my bed with our daughter resting on her chest. Everyone finally decided to leave when Nefra started falling asleep in my arms. They didn't understand that Nefra and I only needed a fifteen-minute nap before we were good to go. Still, I was glad they'd left. I love my family, but having them all around made spending time with my girls hard. So, seeing them on my bed gave me a sense of peace that was hard to explain.
"She's worn out," I chuckle, seeing Pen-Pen with her mouth open, cute little sounds coming from her when she moved.
"Very," Nefra agrees. "I think her social life is starting to catch up to her."
"Imagine when she's a teenager," I tease, but I'm anxious at the thought. Goddess, I'd need to set guards around our house by then and make sure they were all mated.
"I don't even want to think about that yet."
