He completed his morning ablutions with practiced efficiency—freshening up at the basin, relieving himself in the privy, restoring his appearance to presentable standards. He proceeded to knock on Fear's door, then Shadow's, then Sader's, intending to wake them for breakfast.
Surprisingly, each door opened to reveal companions already alert and ready. They'd apparently developed their own routines independent of external prompting, rising before summons became necessary.
