Light filtered through the darkened car window, casting tattered patches of illumination on the person inside.
As he passed a traffic light, Jiang Chengsi raked through his hair in desperation, his face betraying signs of collapse. He remembered flinging the business card away in a careless gesture but couldn't for the life of him remember where he had thrown it. Otherwise, why would he need to go through all this futile effort?
He had just sighed when he saw Jiang Shiyi extend a hand in front of him.

"Give it to me."
"Give you?" Jiang Chengsi paused for two seconds, his finger pointing roughly to the invitation he had received, "Brother, you're going to help me?"
