After taking a bath, Rebecca Quentin cuddled a pillow and leaned against the headboard.
She originally could sleep, but tonight's conversation with Aunt Clare made her recall many things.
Of course, she wasn't thinking about him but about herself.
She truly felt useless; if she had trained her willpower to be stronger in the past four years, she wouldn't have immaturely gone to see him after hearing those words from the private investigator...
If she hadn't gone to see him, she wouldn't have impulsively gone to America with Mrs. Geoffrey, and Aunt Clare wouldn't have misunderstood today, thinking she always wanted to be with him.
