Aunt Clare laughed and shook her head, answering the phone for Rebecca Quentin. "Hello, Mr. Geoffrey... Yes, Becca's here. She'll be down shortly. Alright, goodbye."
As soon as Aunt Clare hung up, Becca huffed, "Why didn't you tell him I'm staying the night at home?"
"My dear young lady, if you stay here tonight, I might not be able to sleep... Go down, don't keep him waiting."
"I won't go."
"Go on, go on..." Aunt Clare pushed Becca toward the door. "I won't let you stay tonight, but you're always welcome to come back."
Outside the apartment building, Becca spotted an expensive car parked by the roadside from a distance. However, she pretended not to see it and walked in the opposite direction. The car promptly started and began to follow her. Becca quickened her pace, but a car can always catch up with a person...
So when the car caught up with Becca, Howard Geoffrey exited the car and embraced her from behind.
"Let go of me!" Becca retorted angrily.
"No!"
"I'll scream!"
