Previously, it was Redbeard Jie Lue who used that move "Star Fire that Can Set the Prairie Ablaze" to rescue Old Geng.
Under no circumstances could Old Geng fall into the hands of Five Immortals Hall, even if it meant exposing his identity.
Fortunately, Old Geng was rescued, though it was only his Primordial Spirit.
The Primordial Spirit is formed from the Innate Divine Soul and the Martial Artist's Divine Soul Power through countless condensed refinements, looking very much like the Martial Artist, essentially a miniature version of one.
Compared to the Innate Divine Soul, the Primordial Spirit is more powerful, and even without a physical body, it can survive for a long time.
Unlike the Innate Divine Soul, once the physical body is lost, the Divine Soul Power diminishes with each use and cannot recover.
